I have been studying photography since my older brother Bob loaned me his Nikon F1 in 1966.
I soon went to work shooting black and white for the college newspaper. I became more interested in the frogs and sunrises than the politics and personalities of academia.
I like to keep constant vigil on the light wherever I may be, and I like to be in the big ever changing atmosphere around Lake Superior and the big sunscapes of the deserts of New Mexico.
I also like to explore the nooks and crannies of these landscapes. It makes me feel like a kid.
I use my accumulated skills to try and capture the light I discover on these vigils.
Please enjoy the photographs.
